Veterinary Services in the Comfort of Your Own Home

Humane Home Euthanasia

Home euthanasia offers a compassionate and peaceful farewell to your beloved companion in the comfort of your pet’s familiar surroundings. We understand how difficult and emotional this decision is for your family and how important it is for your pet to have a warm, calm and quiet passing under your umbrella of love and devotion.

Scheduling an Appointment

We know that scheduling an appointment for euthanasia can be a difficult step to take. We do our best to accommodate your request for an appointment on short notice, but because we may not have availability at the last minute, we encourage you to schedule as far in advance as possible. The best option to schedule is by calling. Leave a message if we do not answer. We monitor phone messages frequently and will return your call. If you have not heard from us in a reasonable time, please call again.

Final Arrangements

We will need to know your wishes before the visit. Many people choose cremation, and with that option the choice is to have private cremation with return of ashes or group cremation with no return of ashes. Less common is the option of burial in a pet cemetery.

Standard urns available at no additional charge are: Trail to Heaven (black finish urn with silver paw prints), Cedar Latch (cedar box with latching lid), Serenity Urn (mahogany finish box with space for you to add your pet’s photo). Other urns available - special order with charge.

Other Home Services

We offer in-home veterinary care as an alternative for those owners and/ or pets experiencing difficulty coming to the clinic, especially those who are elderly or disabled. Health care provided in the pet’s own environment can alleviate the stress and fear of travelling and being in the hospital atmosphere. This is especially valuable for a pet with high anxiety or aggression.
